BURNSIDE, Benjamin Franklin

B.F. Burnside, a brother of Gen. Burnside died at Indianapolis Saturday with consumption.  He lived here in 1857—8 and worked for Buck Busby as a harness maker. He also taught the brass band of the old Indiana Guards, Capt. Miles J. Fletcher commanding.  For several years previous to his death he was a mail agent on the I & St. L.  

Note: He is buried at Crown Hill in Indianapolis -- 30 May 1826 - 16 Nov 1877
